5 Months to go!

Tomorrow marks 5 months until the wedding! I spent today going through all of my pins on pinterest to create a to do list... it ended up being just a buy and make list.

The good news is that I have my entire wardrobe in my possession as of Friday! Also my invitations come in tomorrow, so maybe I can get a jump start on addressing those. I know I am forgetting a lot so I am open for suggestions and help!

The Dress is in!!!

So everything is becoming real.... I am sending out the save the dates this week and I picked up

my wedding dress on monday! It was so weird, trying on the dress, and it really be THE dress... weird. Anyway, it is amazing, I do not know why I was doubting my choice!!!

We are under 6 months now, I know that it is going to go so very quick! I hope I can slow down enough to enjoy it....

Invitations..... CHECK!

It feels so good to check things off my list...

My future-mother-in-law, my mom and myself went to Simply Love Studios to meet with Affordable Invitations. This was one of the least stressful things we have done! We were able to tell her exactly what we were looking for and she was able toshow me things that were not crazy. We easily picked out a invitation, response card and insert card as well as thank you notes. The best part about it was that the total was about $300 LESS than what I was expecting. Always good to have a good experience. I highly recommend Simply Love Studios to any Brides in Lexington.

I really wish that I could stop and enjoy wedding planning! I think things would be much better. I am looking forward to being done with graduate school and having time for stuff I really want to do!!

Wedding planning is slow but going. I got my wedding shoes in the other day! I am so excited for them! I have also decided that Pinterest is a very bad idea for anyone planning a wedding!! I have gotten so many ideas from that site it is not even funny! :)

Wedding Planning + Grad School = No Fun

I have one piece of advice to anyone getting married, don't plan your wedding in the midst of graduate school! I talked to my advisor last week and it is official, I will be graduating in the beginning of MAY!!

Wedding news: Our save the dates are in and are being put together, our guest list is finalized, my girls' dresses are ordered, the florist is booked and the cake is ordered! Can I fast forward to late April?

The girls and I went to Fabulous Bridal yesterday and had a "Maid's Party". They provided us with food and champagne and all the girls were measured and ordered their dresses. I am convinced that I made the best decision on bridesmaids, they are the best friends I could ask

for!

While we were there I found some awesome purple shoes for me!!!
